How to validate your ticket

Scratch off using a coin, the Month and Year, scratch off seven consecutive days starting on the day you wish the ticket to start, as below.

If your ticket validity is to cross over the end of the month and the beginning of the next, see below the correct procedure.

Scratch off the Year and the two consecutive months (e.g. March and April), scratch off seven consecutive days starting on the day you wish the ticket to start, as below.

If the start month does not have a 31 (e.g. April, June, September and November) do not scratch off 31. If the start month is February do not scratch off 29, 30 or 31.

Please ensure that you scratch off the correct dates and in the correct order. Drivers will refuse travel when tickets are incorrectly dated.
